Annual Summer Gala

Jim-Douglas Join us here at the Notch for our annual Summer Gala, held on Saturday, August 2, 2014. The reception begins at 5:30 PM, with dinner following at 6:00 PM. As always, we will be “under the tent” with the beautiful green mountains as our backdrop.

Dinner will be catered by Christophe Chef Services, and will include your option of Grilled Chicken with Apples, Onions & Fennel with a Cider Reduction Sauce; Grilled Sirloin Roast with Peppercorn Port Reduction Sauce; or Vegetarian Lasagna with Basil, Artichoke, Spinach & Italian Cheeses with Roasted Tomato Sauce.

The evening’s keynote feature will be an address by James H. Douglas, Vermont’s 80th Governor. The title of Governor Douglas’s address: “Can Democracy Survive in Today’s Partisan Environment?”
