Vagabonds’ Visit Reenactment
Event Navigation
This summer marks the 100th anniversary of the visit paid by Henry Ford, Thomas Edison, and Harvey Firestone to President Coolidge at his summer White House in Plymouth Notch. The traveling group of industrial pioneers were known as the Vagabonds and were followed closely by the national press during their summer excursions. To mark the occasion, the Coolidge Foundation and the Vermont Division for Historic Preservation are hosting a reenactment of this historic visit on August 17 at 2:00 PM. You can learn more about visiting the Notch on the Historic Site’s website.
