Mitch Robson

Mitch Robson is a Coolidge Fellow at the Calvin Coolidge Presidential Foundation, where he is researching the effect of tax rates on tax revenues in the 1920s. A native of Marblehead, Massachusetts, Mitch attended the University of Chicago as a Coolidge Scholar and graduated in 2024 with a Bachelor of Arts in Physics, a Bachelor of Science in Molecular Engineering, and a minor in History. While at UChicago, he wrote and edited for a student newspaper, of which he was a founding member; served as vice president of College Republicans; was a 2-time Ron Paul Scholar; and performed summer research in capacitive energy storage technologies for electric vehicles at the MITRE Corporation. Currently, he also works part-time as a crisis helpline operator for Samaritans, Inc.
