Edward Janeway of Norwich, Vermont worked in public relations and development for the American Cancer Society and the National Association for Mental Health. He was a free lance newspaper writer and a part-time teacher in the area schools. His father, a Vermont State Senator, was a founding member of the Calvin Coolidge Memorial Foundation.
