Letter from Calvin Coolidge to his Father

Date: December 1, 1895

Dear Father:–

The books came all right and think they will be what I want. I think I ought to have about one dollar a cord if you want to get wood from the limekiln lot for the farm. Is that too much?

Next time you write send me thirty dollars please.

I hope you had a pleasant Thanksgiving!

Very Affectionately

J. Calvin Coolidge
