Letter from Calvin Coolidge to his Father

Date: January 15, 1926

Context: Coolidge notes that they “had one of our weekly parties last night. A dinner and some music after it.”

My dear Father:

The Atty. Gen. came back yesterday and I was much pleased to learn you are feeling so comfortable.

Here is the receipt for the life ins. premium. You can put it with the policy.

We had one of our weekly parties last night. A dinner and some music after it. I wish you might have seen more of the White House with [word unclear].

John is doing fairly well in college. He is a good boy, better I think than I was, but not a good scholar, only moderate.

With love,

Calvin Coolidge
