My Dear Father:—

Evrything is going nicely with me.

The sports went off very well yesterday, but they tell me it was not much of a day, that is that the sports were not carried out so well as usual.

Turner took more points than any one else and so is college athlete.

Enclosed is an announcement of the college lecture course, it is expected to be very good, I intend to go.

I think I forgot to mention in my last letter the gymnasium uniform that I have to get, each man is measured the first of the term and they send off and get the uniforms made, they are eleven dollars and last the whole course, they have not come yet but we expect them soon.

We have had one examination in Latin and one in Geometry they were not very hard and I passed them easily, we have one in Greek next week but I do not expect any trouble from it.

I am in a pleasant place and like very much but suppose I shall like better as [I] become more acquainted, I dont seem to get acquainted very fast however.

Let me hear from you often, I have not recd. a letter from you for a long time but I know how busy you are.

How is cheese selling?

Do you expect to fix the house soon? and how is the black horse?

Well supper is ready now.

With love

J. Calvin Coolidge
