Letter from Calvin Coolidge to his Father

Date: February 2, 1926

Context: Coolidge tells his father about his World Court victory in Congress

My dear father,

A small check came as an extra dividend from the Mett Life Ins. Co.  I sent it to Ludlow for you and here is the receipt.

No doubt you will see Mr. Stearns before this reaches you.

The Senate voted to adopt the protocol so we join the World Court.  It was a most important measure and a really great victory.

With much love to you,

Your son

Calvin Coolidge
