Letter from Grandma Coolidge to Calvin Coolidge

Date: March 20, 1886

Dear Calvin,

I did not hear you had been sick, so you had to stay out of school, until yesterday. I miss you about hearing from your home, what is going on & I miss you all of the time. I am afraid you are sick now. I went over to your Grandfather Moores last night, thinking perhaps you might come up with him, or I should hear from you & was disappointed as he did not call on you. Abbie was most sick last night, have not heard this morning from her Warren & your uncle John went to west Bridgewater last night to a sing & Mat & Jenney the night before, Mrs. Martin is here with me, Hoping we shall hear from you tonight to hear you are better. Lots of good wishes for you.

Grandma Coolidge

P.S. Let us know just exactly how you are as to your health
