Christopher C. Jeter

Chris JeterChristopher Coolidge Jeter is the great-grandson of President Calvin Coolidge and First Lady Grace Coolidge, and serves as a trustee of the Calvin Coolidge Presidential Foundation.

Mr. Jeter has spent much of his career in the financial services industry, focusing on investments and insurance. He works for New England Asset Management (NEAM), which is part of Gen Re and Berkshire Hathaway, where he is responsible for the firm’s investment compliance system. Previous employers include Andersen Consulting (now Accenture), HIMCO, the investment division of The Hartford Financial Services Group, Eagle Investment Systems, a subsidiary of BNY Mellon, and Travelers.

In addition to his involvement with the Coolidge Foundation, Mr. Jeter serves as Chairman of the Investment Committee at his church in Hartford, CT. He is a graduate of Clarkson University with a B.S. in management. He married Tammy Alessi in 1995. They live in West Hartford, CT and have two sons, Kyle and Chase. The Jeters spend time in Plymouth Notch throughout the year.
