Cal Thomas

With a twice-weekly column appearing in hundreds of newspapers, Cal Thomas is one of the the most widely read voices on the American political scene. He is also on the Board of Contributors for USA Today and a Fox News Channel contributor.

 
A graduate of American University, Thomas is a veteran of broadcast and print journalism. In addition to his work on Fox News, Thomas has worked for NBC, CNBC, KPRC-TV Houston and appeared on many programs.

 
In 1995, Thomas was honored with a Cable Ace Award nomination for Best Interview Program. Other awards include a George Foster Peabody team reporting award, and awards from both the Associated Press and United Press International.

 
A writer of force and clarity, Thomas has authored eleven books, including his most current release, What Works: Common Sense Solutions for a Stronger America.

 
In addition to his journalistic and literary achievements, Thomas is a popular lecturer and debater with his friend and liberal Democrat counterpart, Bob Beckel.
