Transportation

Arrival and Departure
Students should arrive on the first day of the institute and leave on the last day. Only under special circumstances will late arrival or early departure be permitted; such special arrangements must be made in advance.

Car
Parents can drop off or pick up students via car. The Cortina Inn is easily accessible on VT Route 4, via I-89 or I-91. The Coolidge Foundation is about a three hour drive from Boston or about a five hour drive from New York City.

Air Transportation – Boston Logan
We recommend that students fly into Boston Logan airport. We have arranged transportation to and from the Boston airport on a chartered shuttle. A staff member will meet students taking the bus at Logan. The staff member will take attendance and accompany students on the bus to Vermont.

Tickets for the chartered shuttle are $150 round trip. If you indicate that you would like transportation on this bus, it will be added to your fees.

The chartered shuttle will depart Boston Logan airport at 3:00 pm. We will not be able to hold the bus after that time. On the last day of the camp, the bus will leave Vermont at 8 am. To be safe, you should arrange flights that arrive WELL BEFORE 3:00 pm and depart WELL AFTER 1 pm.

Flying from the West Coast
The time change may make it difficult to get to Boston in time for our chartered shuttle. We recommend that those coming from the West take red-eye flights on the evening of June 27 to make it in plenty of time.
